Key Responsibilities

Health Education and Patient Empowerment

• Host engaging virtual education sessions to explain nutritional science in an easy-to-understand format.

• Encourage sustainable lifestyle changes by fostering accountability, self-awareness, and health literacy.

Progress Tracking and Documentation

• Continuously monitor patient milestones, metrics, and behavior changes.
• Record detailed session notes, follow-up actions, and nutritional assessments in EMR systems.
• Use digital tools to track patient progress visually and adapt treatment accordingly.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and case managers.

✅ Required Qualifications

Certifications and Education

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) license or equivalent state certification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years in clinical nutrition or outpatient dietary consultation
• Prior telehealth or virtual care experience preferred
• Familiarity with chronic disease management and preventive nutrition
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centered mindset
• High proficiency in using EMR platforms and digital scheduling tools
• Strong organizational skills and time management in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)
