Remote Metadata Analyst
Role Overview
As a Remote Metadata Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, and enriching metadata to support enterprise-level data workflows. Data Annotation and Enrichment
- Apply metadata tags to video, image, and audio content based on internal standards and external schema such as IPTC and Dublin Core.
- Enrich records with contextual data to improve machine learning model outputs.
- Standardize metadata inputs across various departments using best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with engineering and data teams to align metadata structures with backend architecture.
- Coordinate with product and UX teams to ensure metadata supports frontend user experiences.

Compliance and Governance

- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages to manage metadata pipelines.
- Exposure to metadata APIs, RESTful services, and automation frameworks.
Collaboration Software
- Proficiency in cloud-based tools such as Confluence, Jira, Trello, and Notion.
