Remote Learning Specialist

Location: Remote Salary: $77,706 annually Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Learning Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Remote Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing online learning programs that facilitate effective learning outcomes for diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities:

1. curriculum development:
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging and interactive online courses.
   • Ensure that course materials are aligned with educational standards and learning objectives.
   • Continuously evaluate and revise curriculum based on feedback and performance metrics.
2. Technology Integration:
   • Evaluate and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other educational technologies to enhance learning experiences.
   • Provide technical support to both instructors and learners, ensuring smooth operation of digital platforms.
   • Stay updated with the latest trends in educational technology and recommend tools that enhance online learning.
3. Training and Support:
   • Conduct training sessions for instructors and facilitators on best practices for remote teaching and learning.
   • Develop resources and guides for educators on effective online pedagogy and engagement strategies.
   • Offer ongoing support to educators in utilizing tools and strategies to improve learner engagement and success.
4. Assessment and Evaluation:
   • Design and implement assessment strategies to measure learner performance and engagement.
   • Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of online courses and make data-driven improvements.
   • Prepare reports on course outcomes and suggest adjustments to enhance learning experiences.
5. Learner Engagement:
   • Foster a supportive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among learners.
   • Develop strategies to engage and motivate learners, ensuring they remain committed to their educational goals.
   • Facilitate online discussions, webinars, and other interactive learning activities to promote community building among learners.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and educational stakeholders, to support the implementation of online programs.
   • Serve as a liaison between learners and instructors, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and effectively.
   • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of remote learning initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in online teaching, instructional design, or remote education.
• Strong understanding of various LMS platforms and educational technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with instructional design models and adult learning principles is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis and assessment strategies to inform instructional improvements.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in multimedia design tools for creating engaging course content (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline).
• Experience in developing and managing online professional development programs for educators.
