Remote Employee Development Specialist
Letâs Talk About This Role
Picture this: youâre sitting at your favorite coffee spot or your cozy home desk, laptop open, and youâre helping people grow in their careersâwithout stepping into an office. Sounds good? Thatâs exactly what this role is about. Youâll be the go-to person who makes sure our remote team members keep learning, stay motivated, and feel supported no matter where they are in the world.
Weâre talking about
real connections, not just ticking boxes. Youâll be helping people hit the ground running, overcome challenges, and celebrate wins together. And yes, sometimes that means stepping in when someone feels stuck or unsure.
Why This Role Matters
Remote work is amazing, but letâs be honestâit can get lonely, right? Without the usual hallway chats or lunch breaks, some people feel disconnected. Thatâs where you step up. Your work will shape how our team learns, grows, and stays connected.
Imagine someone joining from another country, feeling nervous about fitting in. Youâll be the person making sure they feel part of something bigger. Through thoughtful training, fun team-building sessions, and personal check-ins, youâll turn remote work into a connected, supportive experience.
What Youâll Actually Do
Keep Learning Fun and Practical
Forget boring slide decks. We believe learning should be hands-on. Youâll design and run sessions that people actually look forward toâfrom quick skill workshops to interactive training series. If someone needs a crash course in project tools or wants to improve communication skills, youâll have it covered.
Spot Growth Opportunities
Sometimes, people donât even know theyâre ready for the next step until someone points it out. Thatâs you. Youâll notice potential, suggest training paths, and help folks build confidence.
Keep Everyone Connected
We do weekly team huddles, small group chats, and even virtual coffee breaks. Youâll make sure these arenât just another meeting on the calendarâtheyâre a chance for people to connect, share wins, and talk about whatâs working.
Support Through Challenges
Not every day is smooth sailing. Maybe someoneâs struggling with time zones, or theyâre feeling out of the loop. Youâll step in with empathy, practical solutions, and encouragement.
Your Day Might Look Like This
Morning: You check in with two team members about how theyâre finding a new project management tool.
Midday: You run a 45-minute workshop on "Communicating Across Time Zones" with breakout groups and real-life role plays.
Afternoon: You design a quick learning guide for a new process, making it fun and easy to follow.
End of day: You drop into a small teamâs virtual coffee break to chat about non-work stuff and keep spirits high.
