About the Role
As our Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter, you'll do more than fill seats. You’ll help lay the foundation for building a culture where everyone, regardless of background, is empowered to succeed. What You'll Be Doing
Craft Inclusive Hiring Experiences
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles that reflect inclusive competencies and growth potential.
- Tailor sourcing strategies to reach underrepresented communities through targeted outreach and strategic partnerships.
- Redesign job descriptions using inclusive language that attracts broad, diverse talent pools.
Own End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from initial engagement to offer acceptance, with a strong lens on inclusion and fairness.
- Evaluate and optimize hiring funnel metrics to eliminate bias and ensure equitable candidate experiences.
- Build rapport with candidates from marginalized backgrounds, ensuring a transparent and supportive process.
Be a Strategic Partner
- Consult with leadership and people operations to align recruitment goals with diversity benchmarks.
- Lead and report on quarterly DEI hiring metrics and initiatives, providing key insights and recommendations.
- Serve as a thought leader on inclusive hiring best practices across remote recruiting ecosystems.
Champion Cultural Belonging
- Facilitate equity-focused training for hiring teams and interviewers to foster mindful, inclusive hiring practices.
- Continuously iterate on internal processes to ensure they're not only effective but also equitable and welcoming.
- Influence organizational culture by contributing to initiatives that promote psychological safety and respect across departments.
Tools You'll Use to Drive Success
- Applicant Tracking Systems with integrated DEI features (like Greenhouse or Lever)
- Analytics platforms for tracking pipeline diversity, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance ratios
- Remote collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, Notion, and Miro to stay in sync with cross-functional partners
- Sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and diversity-focused job boards like Jopwell, PowerToFly, and HBCU Connect
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a deep focus on diversity sourcing and equitable hiring
- Strong understanding of intersectionality, anti-bias practices, and inclusive communication styles
- Experience developing and executing DEI recruitment strategies at scale, especially in remote-first organizations
- Familiarity with legal frameworks around equitable hiring and accessibility standards
- Confident working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
- Excellent storytelling skills to engage and inspire candidates from all walks of life
