Most people scroll past a page in about three seconds unless something in the first line makes them stop. Writing that first line, over and over, for different brands and different audiences, is the job.
We're hiring a
Content Writer for a fully remote position, covering blog posts, web copy, and social content rather than one single format on repeat.
What the Role Covers
You'll take a rough brief — sometimes detailed, sometimes just a topic and a target audience — and turn it into something that actually reads well and serves a purpose. Some pieces are pure storytelling. Others need to hit specific keywords without reading like they were built around a spreadsheet. Both are part of the job, and knowing which mode a piece calls for matters as much as the writing itself.
- Writing blog posts, articles, and web copy across a range of topics and industries
- Adapting tone and style to match different brands, not writing everything the same way
- Researching topics enough to write with actual authority, not just surface-level filler
- Incorporating SEO basics into content without letting keywords take over the writing
- Revising drafts based on editor or client feedback without losing the piece's core idea
- Meeting deadlines consistently across multiple pieces in progress at once
What You'll Need
- A portfolio of published writing samples across more than one format or topic
- Strong grammar and editing instincts — clean copy the first time, not after five rounds
- Basic understanding of SEO writing principles, even if you're not an SEO specialist
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics quickly and write about them accurately
- At least a year of paid writing experience, freelance or in-house
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines without letting quality slip on any of them
Good to Have
- Experience writing for a specific niche — tech, health, finance, or similar
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress
- Some background in copywriting for ads or landing pages
- A writing sample where you took a dry topic and made it genuinely readable
Why This Role Is Worth Considering
A lot of remote content writing jobs are single-article gig work with no continuity behind them. This one isn't. At Naukri Mitra, we focus on connecting the right talent with the right opportunity, so this role comes with ongoing content work across real brands rather than one-off assignments picked up and forgotten. Pay reflects your experience, and there's genuine room to grow into an editing or content strategy role over time.
Who Tends to Do Well Here
People who can shift tone between a casual blog post and a more formal piece without it feeling forced, who take feedback as useful rather than personal, and who manage their own time well enough that deadlines aren't a constant scramble. If that sounds like how you already write and work, this role should suit you.
How to Apply
Send your resume along with writing samples that show range — not just one topic or format. The process is short — a conversation about your background, a review of your samples, then a decision. If content writer work-from-home jobs with steady, varied work are what you've been searching for, this is worth applying to.
