Virtual Corporate Communications Advisor
Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and dynamic Virtual Corporate Communications Advisor to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, and strategic messaging. Annual Salary: $78,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communication Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Advise on and create communication plans for key initiatives, product launches, and organizational changes.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Write, edit, and produce high-quality content for various platforms, including press releases, internal communications, executive speeches, and social media.
- Ensure all communications follow the company’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
- Public Relations and Media Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives and industry influencers.
- Manage media inquiries, prepare briefs, and coordinate press conferences and events.
- Monitor media coverage and provide analysis of public perception and media trends.
- Internal Communications:
- Develop and deliver internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to create content for company-wide announcements, newsletters, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Crisis Communication:
- Prepare and implement crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate potential reputational risks.
- Provide guidance and support to leadership during high-pressure situations, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee and contribute to developing the company’s brand messaging and positioning.
- Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all communication materials and channels.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Identify and engage key stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Coordinate communication efforts with external partners, investors, and community organizations.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on communication activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role, with a track record of successful strategic communication planning and execution.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of media relations, brand management, and crisis communication.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and multimedia software.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with performance measurement and reporting.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
