Key Responsibilities That Drive Impact

Design Meaningful Math Lessons

• Create test-aligned content that makes concepts like probability, algebra, and geometry stick.
• Integrate real-world examples to make abstract math relatable and memorable.
• Build intuitive progressions of material that allow for scaffolding of student understanding.
• Design visual aids, digital handouts, and assessments that reinforce key concepts.

Deliver Dynamic Online Instruction

• Host live virtual sessions that keep students engaged, energized, and improving.
• Lead group instruction, breakout discussions, and one-on-one tutoring, adjusting pace and focus based on learner needs.
• Personalize instruction using learner data, ongoing feedback, and formative assessments.
• Promote inquisitive thinking by posing thoughtful prompts and inspiring student-led thinking.

Analyze and Adapt

• Identify trends in student data to inform your teaching methods and content delivery.
• Adapt quickly to the diverse learning styles and preferences of learners.
• Contribute to curriculum updates to stay aligned with evolving test formats and expectations.
• Offer actionable input to the curriculum and product development teams.

Work Environment & Tools

This role is entirely remote. You’ll teach and prepare lessons from wherever you feel most productive—your quiet home office, a co-working space, or even while traveling. All you need is reliable Wi-Fi, a webcam, and your teaching toolkit.

Qualifications You’ll Bring

• An undergraduate qualification in math, education, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching or tutoring math for standardized exams (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT).
• Experience teaching virtually, with a command of digital platforms and student engagement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and personalize learning.
• Excellent communication skills—you express ideas clearly in writing and in live settings.
• A growth mindset: You reflect on your practice, seek feedback, and keep learning.

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or similar.
• Certification or training in pedagogy, test prep, or instructional design.
• Experience working with underserved or first-generation college-bound students.
• Familiarity with EdTech tools and gamified learning strategies.

Compensation
