Job Summary

As a Remote Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be instrumental in designing, managing, and continuously improving our compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Oversight

• Monitor and enforce frameworks: GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, ISO 27001, PCI DSS
• Maintain detailed compliance matrices and dynamic risk registers using GRC platforms like Vanta and LogicGate
• Conduct audits and risk assessments that incorporate AI-powered anomaly detection tools
• Develop incident response procedures and compliance testing automation
• Maintain digital evidence libraries and audit trails across multiple business units
• Draft regulatory documentation tailored to new market entries or service expansions
• Assist finance and operations teams with compliance requirements tied to external partnerships and financial reporting

Technology Integration

• Automate compliance operations using Zapier, Workato, and in-house scripting tools
• Embed compliance tracking into CI/CD pipelines for early error detection
• Build dashboards and compliance scoring systems using Tableau and Power BI
• Collaborate on enterprise IAM strategies with tools like Okta, Entra, and OneLogin
• Coordinate vulnerability scans, penetration testing reviews, and SOC2 readiness processes

Candidate Requirements

✅ Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a compliance, governance, or audit-focused role
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Secureframe, Drata, Vanta, or Hyperproof
• Knowledge of global data protection laws and digital regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in technical and non-technical terms
• Familiarity with agile teams and modern development life cycles
• Ability to maintain discretion while handling confidential or sensitive data

Preferred Skills

• Certifications like CIPP/US, CRISC, CISA, or CISSP are a plus
• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and code auditing tools
• Basic scripting knowledge (SQL, Python, or Bash) for compliance automation
