Remote Hardware Engineer (Electrical)
Ignite Innovation with Us
Think of a workplace where sparks flyânot from shorts, but from brilliant ideas. Our remote-first, imagination-powered tech culture is designed for engineers who love crafting cutting-edge systems and pushing past the limits of traditional circuitry. We've built a digital habitat for inventorsâwhere brainstorms are encouraged, curiosity is celebrated, and ideas are nurtured into tangible, futuristic devices. We donât do boring; we do boundary-breaking. Now, weâre scouting for a curious, driven
Remote Hardware Engineer (Electrical) who wants to shape how technology powers the world next.
⥠What You'll Be Powering
You wonât be just routing tracesâyouâll be architecting electrical systems that solve real-world problems in creative ways. From ultra-low-power sensor nodes to robust, industrial-grade controllers, your fingerprints will be on everything. Weâre building smart gadgets, embedded systems, and hardware components that plug seamlessly into IoT ecosystems and future-ready platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and verify complex analog and digital circuits for embedded platforms
- Partner across remote teams to integrate hardware into firmware, mechanics, and product architecture
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle
- Prototype, test, and iterate with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulation tools
- Lead the whole hardware design processâfrom concept to field-tested reality
- Explore, learn, and implement new hardware techniques, from signal conditioning to EMI shielding
Our Virtual Lab
Weâve built a collaborative digital workshop where innovation doesnât pause for distance. Our remote environment is vibrant, technically rigorous, and charged with energy. Youâll work with creative engineers across continentsâsharing CAD files, debugging circuits, and celebrating that âit finally works!â moment on Zoom. Whether it's a remote-controlled RF circuit or a precision sensor interface, every project presents an opportunity to explore new frontiers.
Tools & Tech You'll Tame
- Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle for circuit capture and PCB layout
- LTspice, MATLAB, and Python for simulation and modeling
- Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools
- Git for hardware version control and design collaboration
- Jira and Slack for agile, async team workflows
Who We're Wired For
We admire engineers who treat design challenges like puzzles and treat failure as a launchpad. If your home desk doubles as a test bench, or if youâve ever built a breakout board just because it sounded fun, youâre in the right place. We love electrical minds who merge technical depth with bold creativity.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Design, or a closely aligned tech field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing electronics for embedded or consumer-grade systems
- Deep skills in schematic design, mixed-signal board layouts, and noise mitigation
- Confident using test equipment for remote diagnostics and iterative design
- Exposure to FPGA development, RF design, or power electronics is a huge plus
Growth & Perks
Weâre serious about hardwareâand about having fun while building it. Youâll get the freedom to explore ideas, the trust to lead your builds, and the tools to make your work excellent.
- Annual compensation: $43,548
- Fully remote, globally collaborative work model
- Time set aside monthly for passion projects or R&D
- Yearly budget for personal lab upgrades or dev tools
- Regular innovation contestsâbragging rights included
The Creative Spark We Seek
