Remote Fundraising Campaign Coordinator

📍 Anywhere 🏷️ Fundraising Coordination 💰 $124,816 / year
Every successful campaign has a coordinator behind it who keeps the timeline honest, the messaging consistent, and the donors feeling seen. This role is that seat. We're hiring a Remote Fundraising Campaign Coordinator to plan and run fundraising campaigns from start to finish, working globally and fully remote. The position is full-time with an annual salary of $124,816. You'll report to the fundraising function but work daily alongside marketing, communications, and donor relations — this is a role built as much on coordination as on strategy.

The Core of the Job

You'll take a campaign from a rough goal on a whiteboard to a finished result with real numbers attached. That means setting the strategy, writing or overseeing the content, managing donor communication, and then going back through the data afterward to figure out what actually worked. Nothing here happens in isolation — you'll be the connective thread between teams that don't always talk to each other daily.

Strategy and Planning

  • Build campaign strategies with the fundraising and marketing teams that align with organizational goals.
  • Define target donor audiences and shape messaging that speaks directly to them.
  • Set measurable goals for each campaign and a timeline with clear milestones.

Running the Campaign

  • Coordinate content creation, email marketing, and social outreach across a campaign's full lifecycle.
  • Partner with the communications team on emails, posts, graphics, and videos that align with the campaign's tone.
  • Manage fundraising platforms and tools to keep the donor giving experience smooth.
  • Watch campaign performance in real time and adjust tactics when something isn't working.

Donors and Relationships

  • Keep donors engaged throughout a campaign, not just during the ask.
  • Send personalized updates to major donors so they understand the impact of their giving.
  • Work with donor relations to identify and cultivate prospective major donors.
  • Answer donor questions quickly and accurately.

Data and Reporting

  • Keep donor and campaign records up to date in CRM and fundraising software.
  • Analyze results to spot trends and inform decisions for the next campaign.
  • Put together reports covering outcomes, key metrics, and lessons learned.
  • Follow fundraising regulations and standard ethical practices without exception.

After Each Campaign

Once a campaign wraps, the job isn't done. You'll run a proper post-mortem — what landed, what didn't, what donors and teammates said in feedback — and use that to sharpen the next one. Staying current on fundraising trends and tools is part of the role, not an occasional extra, and over time you'll build out a library of templates and playbooks that make future campaigns faster to launch.

What You Bring

  • Minimum required education: Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, campaign management, or a comparable role, ideally within a nonprofit.
  • A demonstrated history of campaigns you've planned and actually seen through to results.
  • Solid grasp of digital marketing — email, social, and content — as it applies to fundraising.
  • Comfort working inside CRM platforms and fundraising software.
  • Writing and speaking skills strong enough to move people to act, not just inform them.
  • Organizational skills that hold up when several campaigns are running at once.
  • Sound judgment, high integrity, and close attention to detail.
  • The discipline to work independently while still staying closely connected to a team.

Preferred, Not Required

  • Experience with donor stewardship or major gift fundraising specifically.
  • Familiarity with fundraising regulations and sector best practices.
  • Comfort putting together simple visuals or short video edits when a campaign calls for it.
  • Experience running campaigns for an international or globally distributed donor base.
This opportunity is posted through Naukri Mitra, connecting mission-driven organizations with coordinators who know how to turn strategy into a campaign that actually raises money.

What to Expect Day to Day

This is a fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere with reliable internet. Occasional travel may come up for team meetings, events, or donor visits, though it isn't the norm. The team leans toward collaboration and values people who bring both creativity and follow-through — someone who can generate a good idea and then execute it properly.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary of $124,816.
  • Fully remote work with flexible scheduling around core collaboration hours.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid time off and holiday leave.
  • Support for professional development, including fundraising certifications and relevant training.
  • A clear sense of impact — your work directly funds the organization's mission, not just its overhead.

How to Apply

Submit your resume along with a short note about one campaign you've coordinated and its results. We're especially interested in candidates from all backgrounds who bring genuine care for the mission alongside strong campaign instincts. If that's you, we'd welcome your application.
