Required Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in database reliability, administration, or DevOps engineering (with hands-on time in cloud or distributed environments).
- Expertise in at least one major database technology (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or cloud-managed equivalents).
- Proven success in implementing monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for database systems at scale.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and scripting for automation (Bash, Python, or equivalent).
- Experience guiding or participating in incident response and post-mortem analysisâturning setbacks into improvements.
- Familiarity with security practices and compliance in modern database environments.
