Required Skills & Experience

• Significant experience in database reliability, administration, or DevOps engineering (with hands-on time in cloud or distributed environments).
• Expertise in at least one major database technology (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or cloud-managed equivalents).
• Proven success in implementing monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for database systems at scale.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and scripting for automation (Bash, Python, or equivalent).
• Experience guiding or participating in incident response and post-mortem analysis—turning setbacks into improvements.
• Familiarity with security practices and compliance in modern database environments.
