Frequently Asked Questions

Depends on who you ask. Yesterday I started with a coffee and found three weird invoice notes, fixed two, ignored one (turned out fine). Sometimes I have Spotify on, and sometimes I don't. Last Thursday, someone messaged about a missing decimal, and we all laughed because it was obvious, but also not obvious. Most days, you’re in your own zone, but someone’s always around.
Honestly? We just talk. Slack pings, quick screenshots, "Is this right or did I mess up?" A couple of times a week, someone catches a duplicate, we joke, and move on. Apps help, but the team is the real safety net.
Definitely not just routine. Two weeks ago, Sara discovered a faster way to sort accounts; now, half of us follow her method. Once, I learned a keyboard shortcut just because someone complained in the group chat. Some days it’s billing tips, other days it’s which bakery has the best cinnamon rolls.
Last month was wild—end-of-quarter stuff everywhere, weird late payment, three people out sick. It got noisy, but nobody panicked. People pitched in. Memes happened. In the end, everything got done, and then everyone logged off early. Happens more than you’d think.
Totally. You know whose dog snores on calls, who always says "brb, coffee," and never comes back on time. Somebody mailed cookies to another person for their birthday (took three tries). Doesn’t matter if you’ve never met—everyone’s got your back when it counts.
