What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities
Patient Support & Assistance
✔ Assist therapists and medical staff during patient therapy sessions
✔ Guide patients through prescribed exercises under supervision
✔ Support patients with mobility tasks, including walking and transferring
✔ Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process
✔ Provide education on safe movement techniques and assistive devices
✔ Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and privacy regulations
Facility & Equipment Management
✔ Prepare and organize treatment areas to maintain a safe and functional environment
✔ Clean and sanitize therapy equipment before and after use
✔ Monitor and restock medical and therapy supplies as needed
✔ Conduct routine checks on equipment and report maintenance requirements
Documentation & Reporting
✔ Accurately maintain and update patient records to track progress
✔ Communicate observations and patient status updates to therapists
✔ Schedule and coordinate therapy appointments efficiently
✔ Adhere to medical documentation guidelines and protocols
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework in healthcare or therapy assistance is a plus
Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred
CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Familiarity with medical terminology related to rehabilitation
Knowledge of patient mobility techniques and safety precautions
Ability to operate therapy equipment and assistive devices properly
