What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities

Patient Support & Assistance

✔ Assist therapists and medical staff during patient therapy sessions ✔ Guide patients through prescribed exercises under supervision ✔ Support patients with mobility tasks, including walking and transferring ✔ Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation process ✔ Provide education on safe movement techniques and assistive devices ✔ Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and privacy regulations

Facility & Equipment Management

✔ Prepare and organize treatment areas to maintain a safe and functional environment ✔ Clean and sanitize therapy equipment before and after use ✔ Monitor and restock medical and therapy supplies as needed ✔ Conduct routine checks on equipment and report maintenance requirements

Documentation & Reporting

✔ Accurately maintain and update patient records to track progress ✔ Communicate observations and patient status updates to therapists ✔ Schedule and coordinate therapy appointments efficiently ✔ Adhere to medical documentation guidelines and protocols

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework in healthcare or therapy assistance is a plus Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Familiarity with medical terminology related to rehabilitation Knowledge of patient mobility techniques and safety precautions Ability to operate therapy equipment and assistive devices properly Competency in maintaining accurate medical documentation
