Every dollar of ad spend tells a story, and someone needs to make sure that story ends in growth. If you can look at a media mix, sense where the waste is hiding, and rebuild a campaign around what actually converts, this role was written with you in mind. We're looking for an
Online Media Buying Manager to own the paid media strategy across programmatic, social, and search, and turn budget into measurable business results.
About the Role
This is a fully remote, full-time position reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing, with an annual salary of $90,000. You'll sit at the center of the paid media function, translating business goals into channel strategy and channel strategy into daily execution. The work spans planning and buying across Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, and similar platforms, with real ownership over budget allocation, vendor negotiation, and performance reporting.
Your Day-to-Day
No two weeks look identical, but expect your time to revolve around a few consistent threads:
- Build and execute media buying strategies across programmatic, social, and search channels that ladder up to broader marketing objectives.
- Manage campaigns end-to-end — planning, budgeting, trafficking, optimization, and reporting.
- Monitor performance daily and make real-time adjustments to CTR, CPA, ROI, and conversion metrics.
- Conduct audience research and segmentation to keep targeting sharp and relevant.
- Partner with creative teams on ad copy and creative that actually earn attention.
- Allocate and reconcile budget across channels, negotiating rates and placements with media vendors.
- Produce performance reports and present findings, with clear recommendations, to senior stakeholders.
- Evaluate new media partners and ad tech tools that could sharpen the team's capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional marketing culture.
What You'll Need
We're looking for someone with a demonstrated record in performance media, not just theoretical knowledge of the channels.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in media buying or digital marketing, with a focus on online channels.
- Hands-on proficiency with major buying platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360, and The Trade Desk.
- Solid understanding of programmatic buying, real-time bidding (RTB), and ad exchange mechanics.
- Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Strong Excel skills, with comfort building and interpreting data-driven reports.
- Familiarity with ad tracking and attribution tools, including systems like Campaign Manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when distilling complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- A structured approach to managing multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
Nice-to-Haves
None of the following are dealbreakers, but they'll help you hit the ground running:
- Master's degree or industry certifications such as Google Ads or Meta Blueprint.
- Prior experience managing six- or seven-figure annual media budgets.
- Exposure to vendor negotiation or partner onboarding processes.
- Background mentoring or leading junior media buyers.
- Familiarity with forecasting models and budget pacing tools.
Why This Team
You'll be working alongside marketing, analytics, product, and sales teams who treat media performance as a shared responsibility, not a siloed metric. Ideas move fast here, and so does credit when a campaign outperforms its target. Candidates discovering this listing through Naukri Mitra will find a team that values direct communication and results over office politics and busywork. Expect regular collaboration, honest feedback, and the occasional celebration when a quarter closes ahead of plan.
What's In It for You
- Fully remote position with flexibility in both location and daily schedule.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Retirement plan options alongside performance-based bonuses.
- Support for ongoing certifications, industry conferences, and professional development.
- A genuinely collaborative environment where cross-functional input is welcomed, not just tolerated.
