Role Summary
Primary Objectives
- Partner with content experts and curriculum designers to build learner-focused curricula for various digital learning environments
- Drive innovative learner engagement through gamification, story-based learning, interactive video, and modular course development
- Lead multiple course development timelines and manage stakeholder expectations, deadlines, and budgets efficiently
- Leverage feedback loops from learners and partners to optimize digital learning materials continuously
- Use leading course development tools and learning platforms such as Articulate 360, Rise, Moodle, or Canvas
- Uphold best practices in instructional theory, accessibility, and inclusive curriculum design to support learners worldwide

Core Responsibilities
Instructional Strategy & Design
Key Functions
- Develop and implement instructional design plans that reflect pedagogical best practices
- Design detailed course outlines, lesson scripts, and multimedia storyboards aligned to adult learning principles
- Promote culturally responsive and inclusive education through curriculum content
- Integrate accessibility standards such as UDL and WCAG into all course frameworks
Team Leadership & Project Management
Key Deliverables
- Manage course production calendars and coordinate deliverables with cross-functional contributors
- Cultivate a team culture rooted in respect, inclusion, and creative excellence
- Maintain accountability and transparency across internal stakeholders and freelance vendors
- Organize regular learning sessions to exchange feedback and grow shared expertise
Digital Platform Expertise
⚙️ Tools & Testing
- Incorporate and troubleshoot multimedia features, including animations, interactive assessments, and video tutorials
- Run test cycles to evaluate learner interaction patterns and identify areas for improvement
- Monitor LMS usage analytics and course feedback data to enhance usability and retention
- Ensure seamless delivery across platforms by verifying LMS compatibility and performance
Ideal Candidate Profile
✅ Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instructional Design, curriculum development, Education Technology, or Learning Sciences
- At least 5 years of experience in online curriculum design with 2+ years managing project pipelines for digital course creation
- Advanced skills in using authoring platforms like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Suite, Rise, or Camtasia
- Thorough knowledge of e-learning principles, instructional strategy, and remote learning ecosystems
- Comfort with asynchronous team collaboration and feedback cycles in virtual teams
Bonus Points For
- Prior work in global or multilingual e-learning environments
- Experience designing digital games or scenario-based simulations for education
- Active participation in diversity, equity, and well-being initiatives
- Knowledge of certification program standards, especially for continuing education or non-traditional learners
