Key Responsibilities

Emergency Response & Firefighting

Quickly respond to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous material spills, and rescue operations. Apply firefighting techniques to suppress and control flames. Evacuate and assist individuals in distress during emergencies

Specialized Rescue Operations

Operate life-saving equipment to rescue trapped victims from vehicles, buildings, and confined spaces. Provide immediate first aid and collaborate with medical teams on the scene

Maintenance of Equipment & Vehicles

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fire trucks, hoses, breathing apparatus, and protective gear Ensure readiness of all equipment for emergency response situations

Fire Prevention & Community Safety

Conduct fire safety inspections for homes, schools, and businesses Educate the public on fire prevention strategies and emergency preparedness Participate in community outreach programs and fire drills

Training & Continuous Learning

Attend regular drills and simulated emergency scenarios Stay updated on the latest fire suppression techniques and rescue protocols Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency medical teams to ensure a coordinated response

Qualifications & Requirements

Age & Education

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED equivalent

Certifications & Licenses

Valid driver’s license with a clean record Certification in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Medical Response (preferred but not required)

Physical Fitness Standards

Must successfully pass a rigorous physical fitness test Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks Capability to work in confined spaces and extreme heat conditions

Firefighter Training

Completion of a certified firefighter training program Knowledge of fire behavior, safety protocols, and hazardous materials handling
