Position Overview

Responsibilities

Child Supervision & Care

✅ Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
✅ Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, feeding, and hygiene
✅ Encourage positive behavior and social interactions
✅ Assist with dressing, potty training, and other personal care needs
✅ Ensure children follow a structured daily routine, including rest times
✅ Monitor emotional well-being and provide emotional support when needed

Learning & Development

✅ Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
✅ Organize educational and recreational activities to promote growth
✅ Read books, engage in storytelling, and provide opportunities for creative expression
✅ Help develop essential motor and cognitive skills through structured activities
✅ Support early childhood development by teaching basic skills such as numbers, colors, and shapes
✅ Encourage problem-solving, independence, and critical-thinking skills

Environment & Communication

✅ Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress
✅ Ensure a clean and organized childcare space
✅ Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents
✅ Follow established safety protocols and procedures
✅ Collaborate with fellow caregivers and staff to ensure consistency in care
✅ Provide feedback to parents regarding behavior, growth, and overall well-being

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification

High school diploma or equivalent (Childcare certification preferred)
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of relevant childcare training courses is a plus
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices

Experience & Skills

Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or teaching
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patience, empathy, and a passion for child development
Ability to multitask and adapt to different situations
Understanding of child behavior management strategies
Ability to create a safe and stimulating environment for children
Good problem-solving skills and quick decision-making abilities
