Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and minimize costs while maintaining high quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  2. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, reliability, and service. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure consistent supply.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with various departments to forecast demand accurately. Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete inventory while ensuring adequate stock levels.
  4. Cost Analysis: Conduct regular cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost reduction goals.
  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and relevant regulations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  6. Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that purchased products and services meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control measures to identify and address any issues or deviations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPM) is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required for freshers. Experienced candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
