Job Responsibilities:

2. Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks, storage racks, and other designated areas using the forklift. Handle goods with care to minimize damage and maintain product integrity.
3. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately counting and recording incoming and outgoing shipments. Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
4. Quality Assurance: Inspect materials for damage, defects, or irregularities before handling or transporting them. Follow quality assurance procedures to ensure that only acceptable products are processed and shipped.
5. Maintenance and Inspection: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to maintenance staff for prompt repairs. Keep forklifts clean and well-maintained at all times.
6. Adherence to Safety Regulations: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating forklifts and working in the warehouse environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures to minimize risks.
7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics personnel, to coordinate activities and achieve common goals. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times. Follow instructions from supervisors and managers regarding work assignments, priorities, and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. Additional technical training or certification in forklift operation is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting is advantageous but not required. We welcome applications from both experienced individuals and freshers eager to learn.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and record-keeping. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
