2. Metal Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as necessary. Ensure proper fit-up of components to be welded.
3. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures during all welding operations.
4. Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Identify and address any defects or discrepancies in welds.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in welding is preferred but not required.
