Job Description:
As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Employing keen observation skills to monitor premises via CCTV cameras, patrols, or other surveillance methods to detect and deter suspicious activity.
- Access Control: Regulating entry and exit points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining a log of all individuals entering or leaving the premises.
- Emergency Response: Acting swiftly and decisively in response to emergencies such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches by alerting appropriate authorities and implementing emergency protocols.
- Patrols and Inspections: Conducting routine patrols of assigned areas to identify security risks, safety hazards, or breaches in security protocols. Performing thorough inspections to ensure all security measures are functioning effectively.
- Conflict Resolution: Handling conflicts or disturbances calmly and professionally, employing de-escalation techniques when necessary to resolve conflicts peacefully and maintain a safe environment.
- Report Writing: Documenting all incidents, irregularities, or breaches in security through detailed written reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to supervisors or management.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by offering assistance, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns courteously and respectfully.
- Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Strictly adhering to company policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times to maintain the highest standards of security and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience is required for fresher candidates; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Experienced candidates should have a proven track record in security or a related field.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods are essential.
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with certifications in security-related courses or first-aid training will be given preference.
