Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and code bespoke WordPress themes with attention to speed, responsiveness, and user interaction.
• Build reusable templates and components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Convert Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD files into dynamic WordPress front-ends.
• Ensure consistent design language across templates while allowing for flexible content structures.

Optimization and Compatibility

• Improve theme performance with best practices in lazy loading, asset minification, and asynchronous scripts.
• Follow schema markup standards and semantic HTML to improve visibility and search relevance.
• Ensure compatibility with widely used plugins, such as Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, Elementor, and WPML.
• Address cross-browser and mobile compatibility issues quickly and thoroughly.

Deployment and Integration

• Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams to align theme development with project goals.
• Use Git for source control and manage versioned deployments across development and production environments.
• Create documentation and guides for clients or internal stakeholders to manage their themes.
