Remote Tailwind CSS Developer

Description

Remote Tailwind CSS Developer

Join the Digital Future of Front-End Engineering

Imagine working on projects that touch users around the globe—without leaving your home. We’re searching for a Remote Tailwind CSS Developer who thrives in the creative intersection of clean code and pixel-perfect design. If you have a passion for building scalable, modern interfaces and a keen eye for visual harmony, you might be the person we’ve been looking for.

About the Vision

We're a design-forward tech collective that's reimagining how digital experiences are crafted. Our journey began with a bold idea: simplicity and elegance shouldn't be afterthoughts in web development. With that, we built a team of innovators and craftspeople focused on redefining what the front-end can be. Today, our platforms serve thousands of users across industries, and we’re just getting started.

We believe good design is good business, and we put that belief into every component we craft. Our secret? A love for detail, a bias toward action, and a shared sense of purpose. We're collaborative to the core, proudly remote, and obsessively user-centric.

What You'll Be Creating

You won’t just slap together UI. You’ll craft it. Collaborating with product teams, designers, and developers, you’ll bring ideas to life that not only look stunning but also work seamlessly across platforms. Here’s what you’ll tackle:

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and style responsive, modern UI components using Tailwind CSS with consistency and flair.
  • Translate Figma mockups and UX specifications into fluid, high-performance web interfaces.
  • Contribute to reusable front-end systems and design libraries that streamline development workflows.
  • Refactor and maintain scalable CSS structures with a focus on accessibility, reusability, and performance.
  • Work closely with product managers to interpret feature goals into intuitive user experiences.
  • Debug cross-browser inconsistencies and optimize front-end performance.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback that bridges the gap between functionality and form.
  • Bring animations, micro-interactions, and transitions to life with subtlety and intention.

Our Work Style

We're remote-first, but we work like a well-oiled studio. Communication is direct, design reviews are energetic, and deadlines come with purpose (not panic). You'll have time to think, freedom to explore, and peers who challenge you in the best ways.

Work Environment

  • 100% remote and async-friendly
  • Lean, focused team with clear goals and mutual respect
  • Daily collaboration through Slack, Notion, and Zoom
  • Codebase managed in GitHub with clean branching standards
  • Weekly demos and show-and-tell sessions for inspiration and alignment

Tools and Tech Stack

We're big fans of staying sharp with tools that respect our time. In this role, you'll work with:

  • Tailwind CSS (obviously!)
  • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • React.js and component-driven architectures
  • Figma (yes, we're obsessed with auto-layout)
  • Storybook for UI documentation
  • PostCSS and build tools like Vite or Webpack
  • Git, GitHub, and automated CI pipelines

Must-Haves

We’re not chasing unicorns. But we are looking for:

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with Tailwind CSS as a core tool
  • Advanced understanding of semantic HTML, modern CSS, and responsive design
  • Proven experience integrating Tailwind with React (or another component-based framework)
  • Ability to translate visual designs into polished, maintainable code
  • Comfort with Git workflows and collaborative development
  • Solid grasp of accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG, etc.)
  • Experience working in a remote, asynchronous team
  • Creative instincts and the courage to try fresh approaches

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with headless CMS platforms
  • Experience with dark mode theming and CSS variables
  • Motion design skills with GSAP or Framer Motion
  • Contributions to open-source Tailwind plugins or extensions
  • Knowledge of server-side rendering (Next.js, Nuxt)

Why This Role is Different

You won’t be a cog. You’ll be a co-creator. This isn’t a job where tickets fall from the sky. You’ll shape features from concept through deployment and influence how the web feels and functions for thousands. There’s absolute trust here. Real ownership. And real growth is ahead.

Plus, you'll earn an annual salary of $138,681 while working from wherever you feel most inspired—whether that’s your favorite beachside cafe, a bustling coworking space, or a quiet nook at home.

Career Growth & Impact

This role is a launchpad. As we scale, you'll have the opportunity to lead design system efforts, contribute to product strategy, and evolve your role based on your interests and skills. Whether you aspire to specialize deeper in front-end architecture or grow into a creative leadership role, we’ll support that path.

You’ll be joining a culture that values autonomy, high standards, and unfiltered creativity—a team that sees design and development as two sides of the same coin. And yes, we celebrate our wins (and weirdest memes) together every week.

Ready to Shape the Web?

If you get a thrill from crafting interfaces that feel just right, love writing CSS that scales and sings, and want to work with people who genuinely care about the craft, we want to meet you.

Apply now and let’s build something beautiful together.
