Core Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Maintenance
- Proactively monitor virtual server environments and resolve hardware and software alerts using remote desktop tools.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, patches, and updates across Linux and Windows platforms.
- Ensure endpoint performance and deploy diagnostic solutions to identify and address anomalies.
Incident Resolution and Support
- Deliver Tier 2 technical support for escalated remote access, VPN, and virtual desktop issues.
- Provide support through ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
- Document troubleshooting processes, ticket resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Infrastructure Enhancement
- Support infrastructure modernization initiatives, including transitions to cloud-based workloads.
- Optimize the configuration of automation tools, such as Ansible or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Participate in designing fault-tolerant solutions and improve redundancy planning.
Security and Compliance
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure systems comply with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Implement endpoint protection measures and maintain audit-ready system logs.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and assist in remediation plans.

Qualifications and Experience
Required
- 3+ years in a technical support or systems administration role with a remote or hybrid IT operations model.

- Strong command of system performance analysis and log interpretation.

- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Azure Associate Certification, or Red Hat System Admin Credential.
