Remote QA Tester Jobs In Colorado

Introduction: Why Quality Matters Here

Letโ€™s be realโ€”everyoneโ€™s had that one app or website thatโ€ฆ works. No headaches, no glitches, no dead ends. Thatโ€™s what weโ€™re aiming for, and as our next Remote QA Tester, youโ€™ll be the reason users across Colorado feel like everything clicks. This role isnโ€™t about routine testingโ€”itโ€™s about caring enough to dig deeper, spot the little annoyances before anyone else, and make sure what we ship is something youโ€™d actually be proud to share. Youโ€™re empowered to question, to suggest, to speak up, and youโ€™ll see the results of your work in the smiles (and the silence) of users who never run into issues. With an annual salary of $89,334, youโ€™ll have the resources and respect to make quality the baselineโ€”not the exception.

The Impact Youโ€™ll Make

Your opinion wonโ€™t just be another voice in the void. When you find a sneaky bug or suggest a more intelligent workflow, we actually listen. Youโ€™ll work with designers who care about details, engineers who love a challenge, and product folks who want to get it right the first time.ย Sometimes, youโ€™ll break things on purpose; sometimes, youโ€™ll save the day by asking, โ€œWait, did anyone try itย thisย way?โ€ย The work you do here doesnโ€™t just make features workโ€”it makes them feel right. You help us launch with confidence, keep customers happy, and maybe even surprise ourselves with what we can deliver.

Responsibilities: Raising the Bar on Every Release

Test Planning & Strategy

Forget cookie-cutter plans. Youโ€™ll shape your own strategiesโ€”writing test cases that cover not just the obvious but also those โ€œwhat if?โ€ moments users always find. Youโ€™ll catch missing steps, ask why something matters, and bring the real world into every test. Your prep work sets the stage for smooth launches.

Manual & Automated Testing

Some days, youโ€™ll roll up your sleeves and poke at every corner of a new feature, seeing what breaks and what feels weird. On other days, youโ€™ll write or tweak automation scripts (maybe in Selenium or Cypress) so we can catch issues even faster next time. You get to balance hands-on problem-solving with building smarter, more repeatable checks.

Reporting & Communication

No jargon or walls of textโ€”just clear, honest notes about what you found and why it matters. Whether youโ€™re DMing a quick โ€œHey, found something oddโ€ or dropping a screenshot in Slack, you help everyone see what needs fixing. Your bug reports donโ€™t sit ignoredโ€”they spark action and better releases.

Partnering for Progress

Itโ€™s not a solo act. Youโ€™ll sit in on sprint reviews, speak up during standups, and sometimes help rewrite a user story so it actually solves a problem. Mentoring less-experienced teammates or sharing a new trick is just part of how you grow the team and the product.

Tools & Technology: The Modern QA Stack

Youโ€™ll use tools that make remote work feel easyโ€”Jira for tracking, GitHub for code, Slack for chatting, and BrowserStack for testing on anything with a screen. Automated testing isnโ€™t an afterthought here; itโ€™s integral to how we continue to move fast without breaking things. And if you have a favorite plugin, script, or new idea, we want to hear about it.

What Sets You Up for Success

Youโ€™ve tested real products beforeโ€”maybe SaaS, maybe mobile, perhaps both. Youโ€™re the kind of person who not only finds whatโ€™s broken but also asks why it broke in the first place and how to avoid it next time. You like explaining technical stuff in plain English and thrive when youโ€™re working with people who might be halfway around the world. Agile is familiar territory, and you know that โ€œaccessibilityโ€ isnโ€™t just a buzzwordโ€”itโ€™s something every user deserves.

Growth & Opportunity

Your job title might say QA, but your growth doesnโ€™t stop there. Whether you want to dig deeper into automation, lead testing on bigger projects, or even jump toward product strategy, weโ€™ll help you get there. Youโ€™ll have time and space to keep learning, share new approaches, and challenge how we do things. If you see a better way, we're open to trying it.

Work Environment: Remote, Connected, Empowered

Your desk, your rules. Maybe youโ€™ve got a killer view of the Rockies, or maybe you just like working in fuzzy socks. Youโ€™ll have flexibility and trust, plus a team that actually likes collaborating, learning, and celebrating winsโ€”even if itโ€™s over Zoom. Feedback is a two-way street, and your voice counts, whether youโ€™re suggesting a process change or sharing a meme.

Inspired Call to Action

Ready to be the person who saves users from headaches and helps us launch products everyone can trust? If you view problems as opportunities and believe that details matter, we'd like to talk. This is your chance to leave your markโ€”letโ€™s do something great together.
