Core Responsibilities of the Role

Test Planning and Strategy

Collaborate and Review

• Collaborate closely with product leads and software engineers to evaluate requirements and define test strategies.

Build Test Plans

• Design scalable test plans for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.

Think Ahead

• Evaluate edge cases and user scenarios to ensure robust product performance.

Test Execution and Automation

Perform Tests

• Conduct manual and scripted automated test scenarios across various platforms and devices.

Report Issues

• Document and track defects using modern bug-tracking systems.

Automate Processes

• Partner with automation teams to build and maintain scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.

Communication and Teamwork

Share Insights

• Report findings clearly to engineering and product stakeholders.

Stay Agile

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
