Your Impact in This Role

Performance Testing Leadership

• Own the performance engineering lifecycle for large-scale distributed systems.
• Design, implement, and execute load testing, stress testing, and endurance tests across platforms
• Define benchmarks that align with product expectations and SLAs
• Provide strategic recommendations to product teams based on profiling and bottleneck data

End-to-End Analysis and Optimization

• Analyze test outcomes with an eye for latency, scalability, and throughput
• Collaborate with DevOps and SREs to understand infrastructure constraints
• Deliver meaningful insights through dashboards and KPI reports
• Contribute to application design by flagging architectural risks early

Collaborative Engineering

• Partner with backend developers to simulate traffic patterns using realistic data
• Coach junior testers and contribute to establishing performance testing best practices
• Participate in agile ceremonies and translate requirements into actionable test plans.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in performance engineering or related test roles
• Deep familiarity with protocols: HTTP, WebSockets, REST APIs
• Demonstrated ability to interpret JVM/GC metrics, database queries, and service logs
• Proven success in building repeatable test automation scripts
• Hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Bash
