Role Overview and Impact

You will guide the front-end vision of our product, designing scalable architecture, mentoring developers, and ensuring intuitive, accessible interfaces across all platforms. As a lead developer, you’ll be responsible not just for writing clean, scalable code but also for championing modern UI design principles, enforcing best practices, and helping other developers advance their skills. Key Responsibilities

Front-End Strategy & Development

• Lead the creation of responsive, high-performance UI components using React, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Set and enforce standards for frontend development, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and performance.
• Partner with product managers and designers to translate ideas into seamless, user-friendly features
• Drive improvements to code quality, testing coverage, and modularity
• Manage architectural evolution with a focus on reusability and performance

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor developers, lead code reviews, and foster a collaborative engineering culture
• Manage sprint goals and ensure timely delivery of major front-end milestones
• Champion innovation through experimentation and ongoing evaluation of tools and approaches
• Proactively identify technical debt and help the team plan for iterative improvements
• Promote ongoing skill development while nurturing an environment of feedback

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Ensure design consistency and cross-platform experience alignment
• Collaborate clearly across disciplines, translating technical language into business value
• Leverage user behavior data and A/B testing insights to improve engagement

• Contribute to design system evolution and UX improvement processes

Qualifications and Experience

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on front-end development
• 2+ years leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Deep expertise in component-based architecture (preferably React)
• Mastery of responsive design principles and accessibility standards
• History of delivering large-scale or high-impact UI projects
• Excellent interpersonal abilities combined with a confident leadership style, complex discussions with clarity

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of design systems and tooling like Storybook and Figma
• JAMstack familiarity and understanding of static site generation
• Experience in fast-growth SaaS, fintech, or enterprise environments
• Background working with distributed teams and asynchronous workflows
• Familiarity with DevOps principles as applied to front-end deployment pipelines
