What You'll Do

Design & Development

• Build, test, and maintain robust Java applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• Architect and implement clean microservices that communicate through RESTful APIs
• Deliver backend services that are optimized for speed, scalability, and dependable uptime

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Engage in daily team syncs and collaborative sprint planning alongside distributed team members.
• Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior team members to uphold code quality

Continuous Integration

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Write modular unit tests and participate in integration testing across environments.
• Ensure that all code changes meet the quality gate before merging

Problem Solving

• Debug complex issues in a fast-paced, remote team environment
• Analyze system performance and continuously improve latency and throughput
• Propose architectural changes and performance improvements when necessary

Tools & Technologies You'll Use

• Programming: Java 11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• API Development: REST, Swagger/OpenAPI standards
• Data Storage: PostgreSQL, MongoDB (NoSQL for document storage)
• Version Control: Git, GitHub flow, GitLab CI
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Postman for endpoint testing
• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes (optional but a plus), Jenkins
• Cloud: AWS or GCP experience is highly valued

Skills We’re Looking For

• Deep understanding of Spring Boot and enterprise-level Java applications
• Familiarity with building scalable backend platforms using RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational and document-based databases
