About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient Remote Front End Architect to join our growing digital team. In this position, you'll lead the direction for front-end technologies and patterns, make framework recommendations, and help optimize testing pipelines and deployment processes. You'll serve as the technical reference for all UI-related matters, ensuring cohesion between design, development, and product vision.

Annual Salary: $163,566

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, modular, and performant front-end architecture for enterprise-grade applications.
• Standardize UI components and systems to promote consistency and rapid development.
• Collaborate across engineering and design to bring intuitive, beautiful interfaces to life.
• Define coding standards, performance benchmarks, and accessibility best practices.
• Lead implementation of front-end features and integrations with back-end systems and third-party services
• Conduct code audits and mentor developers through hands-on support and documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex UI issues related to rendering, responsiveness, and state management.
• Optimize applications for speed, SEO, and overall user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Champion CI/CD workflows and testing strategies specific to front-end engineering

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership or architectural role
• Demonstrated expertise in building scalable, reusable UI components and systems
• Strong focus on web performance, mobile-first development, and responsive design
• Advanced knowledge of browser behaviors and cross-platform compatibility
• Deep understanding of accessibility guidelines (such as WCAG) and localization practices
• Skilled in converting product goals into structured engineering deliverables
• Strong command of written and spoken English for professional communication
• A degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, software development, or a related domain, or comparable industry experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with headless CMS and micro frontend architecture
• Familiarity with JAMstack and serverless web applications
• Contribution to open-source projects or published technical writing
• Understanding of DevOps principles as they apply to frontend workflows
• Experience integrating with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
