Real Stories from Our Illustrators
“When I joined, I was unsure how my identity as a nonbinary artist would be received. But from day one, I was treated with dignity and invited to lead a series on LGBTQ+ voices in media. My illustrations were celebrated—not just approved—and I now co-host monthly critique circles.” – Senior Editorial Illustrator.
“I was navigating caregiving responsibilities while freelancing and felt burned out. Here, I’m empowered to set my own hours, request extensions when needed, and I’m always met with empathy, not judgment. I’ve never felt more artistically fulfilled.” – Remote Visual Contributor.
