Key Responsibilities and Daily Impact
Developing Cutting-Edge BigCommerce Experiences
- Create custom BigCommerce themes and templates using Stencil CLI with responsiveness in mind.
- Translate design mockups into fast, mobile-first experiences aligned with eCommerce UX principles.
- Push boundaries with advanced front-end features using JavaScript, React, or Next.js.
- Debug and resolve functional or UI inconsistencies in real-time across major devices and browsers.
Engineering Smart Integrations
- Connect storefronts to ERPs, CRMs, shipping systems, and marketing tools using REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Architect and deploy secure third-party payment gateway integrations.
- Build bridges between product data, search tools, and headless frameworks for seamless navigation.
- Enhance merchandising functionality through dynamic, scalable modules.
Innovating Through Customization
- Tweak and perfect checkout experiences to reduce cart abandonment and increase conversions.
- Build modular components that empower content teams with drag-and-drop layouts.
- Enhance PDPs with real-time inventory logic, promo logic, and product personalization.
- Find creative solutions for overcoming platform constraints without compromising UX.
