Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Administer and monitor AWS-based environments, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and VPC resources.
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, fault-tolerant architecture using AWS native services.
Automation & Scripting
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Create shell scripts and utilize Python or Bash to automate repetitive system tasks.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure system integrity and security by managing IAM roles, security groups, and adhering to cloud best practices for compliance.
- Conduct routine audits, system hardening, and patch management to maintain robust environments.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Implement monitoring solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Analyze system metrics to optimize performance, cost, and uptime across distributed workloads.
Collaboration & Incident Response
- Work cross-functionally with DevOps, developers, and security teams to ensure smooth deployments and service continuity.
- Lead root cause analyses and incident response in real-time to mitigate production issues.
