Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and business objectives to drive continuous improvement.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity, accountability, and growth.
3. Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement streamlined workflows to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize resource allocation and maximize operational performance.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Implement robust quality control measures to maintain product/service excellence and customer satisfaction.
5. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and optimize supply chain logistics. Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
6. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, procurement processes, and warehouse operations to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence. Develop inventory forecasting models to anticipate demand and optimize inventory turnover.
7. Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure cost-effective resource allocation and sustainable growth. Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets, reputation, and stakeholders' interests. Implement effective risk assessment protocols and contingency plans to minimize disruptions to operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., MBA, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or related industries. Experience in a leadership role is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools/software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices in operations management. Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
