Job Description:

As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient documentation of medical records. Your primary responsibilities will include:

3. Maintaining Confidentiality: Handle sensitive medical information with the utmost confidentiality and adhere to strict privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
4. Meeting Deadlines: Work efficiently to meet transcription deadlines and ensure timely delivery of transcribed documents to healthcare providers and other relevant parties.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, transcription team members, and other stakeholders to clarify any unclear audio recordings and ensure accuracy in transcriptions.
6. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance processes to review and verify the accuracy of transcribed documents, making corrections as necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
7. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and industry trends to enhance your transcription skills and knowledge continuously.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification or training in medical transcription is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience: Both fresher and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in medical transcription or a related field is advantageous but not required.
• Skills: Excellent listening and typing skills are essential. Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Familiarity with medical terminology and transcription software/tools is preferred.
