Job Description: As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Sample Collection and Processing: Collecting samples from patients using appropriate techniques and ensuring proper labeling and storage for analysis.
2. Laboratory Testing: Conducting various tests such as blood tests, urine analysis, microbiological cultures, and biochemical assays according to standard operating procedures.
3. Instrument Operation: Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
4. Data Analysis: Analyzing test results and accurately recording findings in laboratory information systems or reports.
5. Quality Control: Performing quality control procedures to ensure the validity and reliability of test results, and taking corrective actions as necessary.
6. Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
7. Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of tests performed, including patient information, test results, and any relevant observations.
8. Communication: Collaborating with healthcare professionals, colleagues, and patients to ensure effective communication and coordination of laboratory services.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not required for fresher candidates.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Candidates must be between 18 and 60 years of age, and both male and female applicants are encouraged to apply.
