Job Description:
As a Dance Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of dancers. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Instruction:
- Conducting dance classes for students of various skill levels and age groups.
- Teaching a diverse range of dance styles, including but not limited to classical, contemporary, hip-hop, Bollywood, and folk dances.
- Creating engaging and dynamic lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of each student.
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their technique, expression, and performance quality.
2. Choreography:
- Choreographing original dance routines for performances, competitions, and showcases.
- Collaborating with students and fellow instructors to develop creative and innovative choreographic concepts.
- Ensuring that choreography is age-appropriate, safe, and showcases the dancers' strengths.
3. Administration:
- Managing class schedules, attendance records, and student progress reports.
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff members regarding class updates, events, and performances.
- Assisting with organizing and coordinating recitals, workshops, and other dance-related activities.
4. Professional Development:
- Continuously enhancing your dance skills and knowledge through workshops, classes, and self-study.
- Staying informed about current trends and developments in the dance industry to provide relevant and up-to-date instruction.
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities offered by the institution.
Qualifications:
We welcome applications from both fresher and experienced candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A passion for dance and a strong desire to inspire others.
- Proficiency in one or more dance styles, with a solid foundation in technique and performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Previous teaching or choreography experience is preferred but not required for fresher candidates.
- A positive attitude, patience, and the ability to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
- Candidates must be between 18 and 60, and male and female applicants are encouraged to apply.
