Job Description:

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures and fixtures. Your primary duties will include:

1. Interpreting Blueprints: Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications and requirements.
2. Material Selection: Selecting appropriate lumber and materials based on project needs and budget constraints.
3. Cutting and Shaping: Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials to precise measurements.
4. Assembly and Installation: Assembling wooden components to construct furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and other structures. Installing finished products onsite as needed.
5. Repairs and Maintenance: Repairing and refurbishing existing wooden structures and fixtures, including furniture and cabinetry.
6. Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and integrity of finished products through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to industry standards.
7. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Experience: While prior experience as a carpenter is preferred, we also welcome enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in woodworking.
• Skills: Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical Fitness: Carpentry can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and to the client's satisfaction.
