Job Description:

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for various woodworking tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Construction and Installation: Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications.
2. Measurement and Cutting: Taking accurate measurements, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials to build furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and other items as required.
3. Finishing and Refinishing: Applying finishes such as varnish, paint, or stain to enhance and protect completed woodwork. Refinishing existing woodwork to restore its appearance and functionality.
4. Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required and dimensions for projects.
5. Tools and Equipment: Properly and safely using a variety of hand and power tools and equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers, to complete woodworking tasks.
6. Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products through careful inspection and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Experience: While prior experience in carpentry is preferred, we also welcome freshers who demonstrate a strong interest and willingness to learn.
• Skills: Proficiency in woodworking techniques and familiarity with a wide range of tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical Stamina: Carpentry can be physically demanding, so candidates must be able to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and other tradespeople to achieve project goals.
• Safety Consciousness: Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries on the job site.
