Job Description:
As a Car Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing exceptional customer service. Whether it's navigating through heavy traffic or ensuring a comfortable ride for our passengers, your role will be crucial in upholding our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Transportation: Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, and other passenger vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to passengers, including assisting with loading and unloading luggage, opening doors, and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey.
- Route Navigation: Familiarize yourself with the routes in and around Chennai to ensure efficient and timely transportation of passengers to their destinations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with dispatchers and passengers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations and address any concerns or special requests.
- Safety: Prioritize the safety of passengers and other road users at all times. Follow defensive driving techniques and respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations on the road.
- Professionalism: Present yourself in a professional manner at all times, including being punctual, well-groomed, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license issued by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) of Tamil Nadu.
- Proven clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Excellent knowledge of Chennai's roads, landmarks, and traffic patterns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy luggage if required.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
