Key Responsibilities

Digital Asset Development

• Design production-ready art assets—characters, environments, icons, UI components—for a variety of digital platforms.
• Execute detailed visual storytelling through clean, scalable illustrations and animations.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work hand-in-hand with creative leads, developers, and brand strategists to ensure the design vision is carried through every asset.
• Participate in early-stage conceptual meetings and style exploration discussions.

Visual Adaptation & Efficiency

• Refine or reimagine existing art styles to align with evolving product aesthetics.
• Ensure all assets are optimized for smooth performance across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.

Creative Revisions & Delivery

• Iterate based on feedback while staying true to project goals.
• Maintain clean file structures and version control for seamless collaboration.

Tools and Platforms

Visual Design and Illustration

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
• Procreate or similar tools for concept sketching

3D and Motion Design

• Blender or Autodesk Maya for asset creation
• Unity or Unreal Engine for testing asset integration (a plus, not required)

UI/UX Collaboration

• Figma and Sketch for interface design and layout testing

Team Communication

• Slack for daily syncs and quick support
• Trello and Notion to track milestones and asset deadlines

Ideal Candidate Traits

Artistic Experience

• A well-rounded portfolio that highlights diverse styles—from playful illustrations to clean interface icons
• Proven track record of designing assets for games, apps, or branded experiences

Creative Agility

• Able to juggle multiple visual styles across various projects
• Quick to absorb feedback and turn revisions around with professionalism

Communication & Initiative

• Strong written communication to convey design ideas clearly across remote channels
• Self-motivated, proactive, and always willing to share a better way to do things

Background

• Degree or significant experience in Game Art, Digital Illustration, Visual Design, or related field
• Experience in collaborative design systems is a significant plus
