Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a stable supply of goods and services.
2. Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels. Analyze pricing trends, conduct market research, and leverage economies of scale to achieve maximum value for every procurement dollar spent.
3. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues proactively, and collaborate cross-functionally to address any supply chain disruptions promptly.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Implement inventory control measures and explore Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory practices to enhance efficiency.
5. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Monitor contract compliance and enforce contractual obligations to mitigate risks and ensure accountability.
6. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor geopolitical, economic, and industry-specific factors to anticipate and address potential disruptions proactively.
7. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate purchasing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices, automation tools, and technology solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
8. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures. Uphold ethical standards in all procurement activities and promote transparency and integrity throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management is preferred but not required for fresher candidates. Experienced candidates should have a proven track record of success in procurement roles, with at least [X years] of relevant experience.
