Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

1. Instructing Dance Classes: Design and deliver engaging dance classes tailored to students' age, skill level, and interests. Teach a variety of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, Bollywood, and more.
2. Demonstrating Techniques: Demonstrate proper dance techniques, movements, and sequences. Provide clear and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and performance.
3. Choreographing Routines: Create original choreography for performances, competitions, recitals, and showcases. Develop innovative and captivating dance routines that showcase students' abilities and creativity.
4. Developing Curriculum: Plan and develop a comprehensive dance curriculum that aligns with industry standards and educational goals. Incorporate elements of technique, theory, history, and musicality into lesson plans.
5. Fostering a Positive Learning Environment: Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated, encouraged, and empowered to explore their potential. Foster a sense of teamwork, discipline, and respect among students.
6. Monitoring Progress: Track and assess students' progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Provide individualized attention and guidance to help each student reach their goals and overcome challenges.
7. Engaging with Parents: Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student's progress, goals, and performance. Address any concerns or questions in a professional and timely manner.
8. Participating in Events: Participate in dance events, competitions, workshops, and performances both locally and nationally. Represent the studio with professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion for dance.
9. Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and developments in the field of dance education. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience teaching dance classes to students of all ages and levels is preferred. However, passionate individuals with a strong dance background are also encouraged to apply.
• Certifications: Certification in dance education, pedagogy, or relevant dance disciplines is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in multiple dance styles, excellent communication skills, patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Education: A degree or diploma in dance, performing arts, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
