Job Description:

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Operating Forklifts: Safely and proficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials as required. Adhere to all safety protocols and operating procedures at all times.
2. Material Handling: Transport materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and production areas. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to designated locations.
3. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly documenting material movements and storage locations. Conduct regular inventory checks as needed.
4. Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage or defects before transportation. Report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel immediately.
5. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Participate in safety training programs and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions promptly.
7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including warehouse staff, supervisors, and managers, to coordinate material handling activities and ensure smooth operations.
8. Adaptability: Flexibility in performing various tasks beyond forklift operation as required by the job demands. Willingness to learn and cross-train in different areas of warehouse operations.

Requirements:

For Freshers:

• No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, lifting, and operating equipment.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

For Experienced Operators:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
