Job Description:
As a Data Scientist, you will be at the heart of our mission to unlock the value of data through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights.
- Machine Learning Modeling: Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems, such as predictive modeling, recommendation systems, and anomaly detection.
- Feature Engineering and Selection: Identify relevant features and preprocess data to enhance model performance and accuracy.
- Model Evaluation and Optimization: Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques, and iterate on models to improve predictive accuracy and generalization.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and related fields, and apply new techniques and methodologies to solve real-world problems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy), machine learning frameworks (e.g., sci-kit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Prior experience in data science or related roles is desirable but not required. Freshers are welcome to apply!
