About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using TypeScript and contemporary component-driven libraries like React or Vue.
• Transform UI/UX designs into functional components with pixel-perfect precision.
• Build a scalable front-end architecture that aligns with the long-term product vision.

Performance and Optimization

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilize performance profiling tools to enhance load times and improve rendering efficiency.
• Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and other modern performance-enhancing strategies for the front-end.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with product designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
• Clearly articulate technical decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites, including functional, integration, and automated UI testing using frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
• Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility across different screen sizes and operating systems.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices, tools, and technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving coding standards and team practices.

Tools & Technologies

You'll be expected to work with a modern front-end stack that includes:

• TypeScript
• React.js or Vue.js
• Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks
• Webpack, Vite, or similar bundlers
• Storybook for UI component development
• Git for version control
• RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Figma or Adobe XD for UI design handoffs
• CI/CD tools for streamlined deployment pipelines

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position designed for independence and flexibility. Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of front-end development experience using TypeScript.
• Proficiency in building modern web applications using component-based frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design techniques.
• Experience integrating APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative development.
• Solid understanding of core web vitals, browser rendering behavior, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js or Nuxt.js).
• Familiarity with testing libraries and test-driven development.
• Exposure to design systems and UI component libraries.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG compliance).
