Job Description:

As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, serving as a trusted advisor to patients and healthcare providers alike. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Dispensing Medications: Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications to patients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards. Verify prescription information for completeness and accuracy.
2. Patient Counseling: Provide personalized medication counseling to patients, including information on proper dosage, administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Address any questions or concerns raised by patients regarding their medications.
3. Medication Management: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes. Conduct medication therapy management services, such as medication reviews and adherence counseling, to promote the safe and effective use of medications.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor medication inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure adequate supply. Place orders for medications and pharmaceutical supplies as needed, while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
5. Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of pharmacy practice and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs to enhance patient care and reduce medication errors.
6. Health Education: Educate patients and the community about various health topics, including disease prevention, medication safety, and lifestyle modifications. Conduct health screenings and wellness programs to promote public health and wellness.
7. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescription orders, medication dispensing, patient consultations, and other pharmacy-related activities. Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information by HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and pharmacy practice guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
• Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred but not required. Fresher graduates are encouraged to apply.
