Key Responsibilities:

2. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times. Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and optimize inventory turnover.
3. Supplier and Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to maximize cost savings and enhance service quality.
4. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all shipping and regulatory documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with local and international regulations. Maintain up-to-date records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
5. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance performance.
6. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding shipments, delivery schedules, and other logistics-related matters. Provide timely and satisfactory resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the logistics function. Implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or diplomas are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with a passion for logistics are encouraged to apply.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil. Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management software. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
