Job Description:

As a member of our freight forwarding team, you will play a vital role in facilitating the seamless movement of goods across borders. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Customs Clearance: Manage customs documentation and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. You will be responsible for accurately preparing and processing import and export documentation, including customs declarations, permits, and licenses.
2. Logistics Coordination: Coordinating with carriers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. You will be involved in scheduling shipments, tracking cargo movements, and resolving any potential logistical challenges.
3. Client Communication: Served as a primary point of contact for clients, providing them with updates on the status of their shipments, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have, and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
4. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the freight forwarding process. This may involve assessing cargo security, monitoring supply chain disruptions, and implementing contingency plans as needed.
5. Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other relevant documentation and ensuring all paperwork is complete and organized according to regulatory requirements.
6. Continuous Improvement: Contributing to ongoing efforts to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer service, actively seeking opportunities for innovation and implementing best practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required. Additional certifications or training in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
